Welcome to Inner Athlete Training. This is geared towards competitive athletes looking to get to the next level, weekend warriors trying to get the edge on your competition, or fitness clients improving your overall fitness level.  No matter which group you consider yourself in being able to release your inner athlete will help.

The Inner Athlete concept is the brain child of Julian A. Amedee, owner of Sports Fitness Experience.  Julian is a fitness expert specializing in Sports Performance Training, Boot Camp Classes and Personal Trainer (both in house and fitness at home).

Julian A. Amedee

Fitness Expert

Founder and co-owner of Sports Fitness Experience, Julian brings a passion and expertise for fitness that is matched only by his desire to educate those around him.  In 1989 Julian started a track career that took him through 4 years at Georgia Tech, where he achieved various honors, including 2 NCAA National Championships and 3 All-American awards.  In 2005 Julian was inducted into the Georgia Tech Sports Hall of Fame for these achievements.  After college he continued his track career professionally for another 6 years.  In 1996 Julian began his career as a personal trainer at Sportslife to supplement his track career.

By 2001 when he retired from the track circuit Julian furthered his fitness scope by becoming an NSCA-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.  It was at this time that Julian founded SFX as a medium to train athletes.  While still working out of various private facilities Julian took the time to advance his knowledge and network with people in the fitness industry.  With all the increasing information and his own training programs Julian realized that he needed a place to be able to share his philosophy of “Inner Athlete Training”, (originally called Lifestyle Training) with the masses.

In 2007 this dream was finally realized when Julian opened Sports Fitness Experience in Roswell, GA.  At this facility Julian is able to train and educate people in without any judgment or prejudice.  The use of high intensity, ground based strength exercises and sports performance techniques help clients achieve and surpass their fitness and athletic goals.
